2. The kingdom of God (1) Heavens



(1) Heavens

The heavens mean that there are several heavens. The first heaven is generally the atmosphere. The second heaven is outer space. Third, heaven means the kingdom of God.

『I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven. 』(2 Corinthians 12: 2)

Genesis (1: 1) of niv Bible makes it seem as if the creation of heaven and earth of this world and the kingdom of God were made together. Genesis (1:1) of kjv Bible say that heaven is an outer space, including the atmosphere, which is a concept against the earth. Why are niv and kjv translated differently? There is Satan's intention to blur the meaning of this world.

God intended to confine the angels who sinned in the kingdom into this world. The criminal angels were stripped of their clothes, and their spirits were trapped in the mud. So it became human. God placed Satan in the heaven of this world.『Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: 』(Ephesians 2: 2) The reason is that Satan has made man to be tempted. God will saves those who repent From Satan. Even Satan tested Jesus.『And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. 』(Luke 4: 6)

But after Jesus died on the cross, Satan came down from the air to the land. That is why Satan himself is making human beings in sin.

『As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting on him.』(Matthew 3:16 niv)

『And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:』(Matthew 3:16 kjv)

Kjv, niv are different. niv has made the heaven of this world open. kjv says that both the kingdom of God and the heaven of this world are open.

The heaven of this earth is a spatial concept, but the heaven of the kingdom of God is not a spatial concept but a spiritual meaning. The spiritual kingdom of God is a place unknown to human knowledge. The Saints experience the Kingdom of God on this earth, and as they leave this land, they enter into the kingdom of God as spirit bodies.

This world is like a virtual reality in the kingdom of God. It exists for a certain period of time, and the land disappears at the end. 『Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?』 (2 Peter 3:12) This world is the place where spirits of sin were confined. Spirits who repents to God can return to the place where were originally.

(2) The kingdom of God as the spirit world

Human beings can not see the spiritual kingdom of God through the eyes of the flesh. God tells people about the kingdom of God through the Bible. John who was the apostle recorded in the book of Revelation the kingdom of God which he saw when he was confined in the island of Patmos. 『 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal; 』 (Revelation21:10-11) Jewels symbolize the suffering and the patience.
