(2) The kingdom of God as the spirit world

Human beings can not see the spiritual kingdom of God through the eyes of the flesh. God tells people about the kingdom of God through the Bible. John who was the apostle recorded in the book of Revelation the kingdom of God which he saw when he was confined in the island of Patmos. 『And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;』(Revelation21:10-11) Jewels symbolize the suffering and the patience. And the Apostle Paul also said the experience.『It is not expedient for me doubtless to glory. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord. I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven. And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.』(II Corinthians 12:1-4) The Bible explains that the body to born again is not the flesh from the parents but from God.

Jesus explained any condition of the resurrection after the dead.『And Jesus answering said unto them, Do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the scriptures, neither the power of God? For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven.』(Mark 12:24-25) The Bible implicates us that the spirit of all men was the spirit of angels.『And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.』(Matthew 17: 1-3) 『So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.』(Mark 16:19), 『And he led them out as far as to Bethany, and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them. And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven.』(Luke24:51) We can think that the spiritual kingdom of God is the place where the born-again body enters. The Bible says that Enoch and Elijah did not die but their bodies were changed and ascended to heaven.

We can not know whether the born-again body is with the body, but always pleases God. 『Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.』(II Corinthians 5:6-9)

We can say that the spirit world includes the universe world since the spirit world is not the world of the material and spatial concept. The material world is nothing but a small part of the spirit. If God does not shine the light, then the material world will be the dark world. So the material world is a confined world, like the prison. The material world is as like the small bottle to be abandoned into the sea.
