(3) Creation of the world
『In the beginning
God created the heaven and the earth.』(Genesis 1:1) God created
everything in the world for six days. The third day of the first half is the
third day of God, and the third day of the second half is three days of the
human. On the first day, the universe, the sun, the earth, the moon, and all
things were created. After the third day, God functioned them.
『And
God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day
from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and
years: And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light
upon the earth: and it was so. And God made two great lights; the greater light
to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars
also. And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the
earth, And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light
from the darkness: and God saw that it was good. And the evening and the
morning were the fourth day.』(Genesis 1: 14-19)
The
calculation of human day begins on the fourth day. 『God's day contains an eternal meaning that is different from that of
man. But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the
Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.』(2 Peter 3: 8) The Bible says about Jesus. Jesus is the eternal
Jehovah of the kingdom of God in the Old Testament times. But in this land,
Jesus was the one who spent 33 years in the flesh.
『And
the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice
came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.
And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was
supposed) the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli,』 (Luke 3: 22-23)
In the Ten
Commandments of the Old Testament, the part of first half also say about God,
and second half say about humans. The Bible says that
God has given to human beings. Do not read the Bible with the thoughts of
humans, but read it with the mind of God.
