(4) The kingdom of God on earth

The Kingdom of God on this earth expressed in various. Humans have always sinned against God in this land. At that time God judged man. And God commanded man again to make the kingdom of God on earth. The model of the kingdom of God from the past to the present are as follows.

 
The garden of Eden

The garden of Eden symbolizes the kingdom of God. However, there was fruit of the tree of life and fruit of the tree to know good and evil, and a serpent symbolizing Satan also appeared. This garden of Eden implies the events that occurred in the kingdom of God. It also indicates that the kingdom of God on this earth is imperfect. It means any victory to fight against Satan.

Adam was born in the world, and God put Adam into the Garden of Eden. Eve was a woman separated from Adam. What character is Adam that is created for the first time in the world?『And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.』(Genesis2:7)

The soul is Pshuke in Greek. It is usually translated to breath, vitality, mind, mind, and so on. But the soul is not the spirit. Adam who is made by clay and is not a spiritual being, but a soul. God did not put the spirit into clay, but he gave the energy of life. So the shape of the clay became living being. God puts the spirit into living being in Eden.

『And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.』(Genesis 2:8) In the Garden of Eden, man became a spiritual being as the image of God because he ate the fruit of the tree of life.

The spiritual being is united with God in Holy Spirit. Although Adam became a spiritual being, God makes a covenant with him.『But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.』(Genesis 2:17) God gave him ability to discern good and evil. Good is an attribute to appears on eat the fruits of the tree of life. Evil is the devil. Adam can see existence of evil when he eat the fruit of the tree of life. So the devil try to remove the fruits of the good and evil. But Adam and Eve sinned against God.

God wants to save their spirit. God killed the animal himself, made leather clothes, and clothed Adam and Eve. But they have driven them from the garden of Eden to the world because of their sin. The garden of Eden symbolizes the kingdom of God.

Cities of Refuge

『Then ye shall appoint you cities to be cities of refuge for you; that the slayer may flee thither, which killeth any person at unawares. And they shall be unto you cities for refuge from the avenger; that the manslayer die not, until he stand before the congregation in judgment. And of these cities which ye shall give six cities shall ye have for refuge. Ye shall give three cities on this side Jordan, and three cities shall ye give in the land of Canaan, which shall be cities of refuge. These six cities shall be a refuge, both for the children of Israel, and for the stranger, and for the sojourner among them: that every one that killeth any person unawares may flee thither.』(Numbers 35:11-15) The death of the high priest is the only the chance for a sinner to return home from refuge. Where is the sinner's hometown? The home of the flesh from the parents may be the place to be born, but the home of the spirit is the kingdom of God. 『For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.』(Luke 19: 10)『But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.』(Matthew 9:13) So Jesus was died as a high priest on the cross, so that those who came into the refuge as Jesus Christ can return to the home of the kingdom of God.

Noah's Ark

 

God told Noah that I will make a flood to judge evil humans, but I will save those who turn their mind to me, the ark will save them. Noah preached the gospel of repentance for 120 years. But only seven people enter in the Ark. Rain for 40 days. Everyone was died by the flood. God showed the rainbow as evidence the sign that the Bible says that God is going to judge by fire in the future.

The Ark of the New Testament is Christ. If you do not enter Christ, your spirit will be judged by fire. In order to enter into Christ, we must wear the clothes God gives us.『It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.』(1 Corinthians 15:44) You can wear spiritual clothes only if you take off your physical clothes of body from parents. We believe that such a thing happens with my mind. This is baptism. It is the ceremony to take off the clothes of all sin.

『Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.』(Romans 6:3-4)

 

The tent of Abraham

God went to Abraham's tent and made him the promise of the seed, told him the plan to destroy the cith Sodom. Three generations lived in the tents of Abraham. Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. God has come to tent through these three generations. The tent is the place where God conclude covenant(the promise of the seed) with Abraham. The seed became the tree as Jesus Christ. So Abraham and his sons did circumcision, and God destroyed the city of Sodom. The Israelites who the exodus spent a week in a sheltered temporary tent with thanksgiving. This period is called the Feast of Tabernacles, Israel's third great season.

Tabernacle

There was a sanctuary and a yard in the tabernacle, where they killed and burnt the sacrifice offering in the yard, and took the blood of the offering in the sanctuary and sprinkled it. There was a curtain in the sanctuary, there was an altar of incense, a lighthouse, and an offering outside the curtain and there was Holy place of the Sanctuary in the curtain. There was the ark, the mercy seat, and the image of an angel in Holy place of the Sanctuary. The sanctuary was a place where sinners could meet God.

The land of Canaan

God promised the land of Canaan to the people of Israel. Canaan symbolizes the kingdom of God. The Israelites sent spies to Canaan before entering the land of Canaan. But the spies saw that the Anakites of the giants were living in Canaan. Ten spies reported that they would be die when they entered, and two said they would occupy the land when they entered. But the people of Israel believed in the words of ten spies. God did not allow anyone to enter Canaan except for young children under the age of 19 and new-born in the wilderness. At the time of the Exodus, God showed miracles the disaster to Egypt and divided the Red Sea, but the people were destroyed because they did not believe in the promises of God. The kingdom of God on this earth is like a war to win.

The Ark of the covenant

The Ark of the covenant was a symbol of God's presence. 『So the Ark of the Covenant preceded when the Israelites crossed the river Jordan to go into Canaan』(Joshua 3:1-17) the Ark of the Covenant Precede when fight to the city of Jericho that was Broke down with the power of God. They temporarily was robbed the Ark of the Covenant by the Philistines when the Israelites sinned against God.

The temple in Jerusalem of Israel

The temple is a sacred house that built for the purpose of offering sacrifices and worship to God. King Solomon, the son of David built it. It was rebuilt twice in the next generation. Each reconstructed temple was named as the Zerubbabel Temple, the Herod Temple.

Jesus Christ

『But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.』(Hebrews 9:11-12),『Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up』(John 2:19) All of the Jews pitched at Jesus' words that make temple in three days, (took the temple for 46 years in three days). But we know the meaning of the word. It means that Jesus as the temple was resurrected in three days Jesus was died on the cross and resurrected in three days, Just as the temple was rebuilt on the third day.

What we need is not a temple or sacrifice, but our body itself must be the sacrifice to God. 『I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. (Romans 12:1)

The Saint

『Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?』(1 Corinthians 3:16 ) The meaning of the temple is the place where Holy Spirit is. It is not that Holy Spirit enters into the body to anyone, but that he enters into the body to born again. Holy Spirit does not enter the flesh from the parents, but enters into the spiritual body from God. So the Saint to be born again becomes a temple.The saints sacrifices the flesh from their parents Spiritually. It is the dedication to take a self-cross.

『God is the master og the spiritual body because it was given by God. So the spirit of the spiritual body acts as directed by the Holy Spirit. For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.』(II Corinthians 5:1) Saints also have flesh from their parents. It will collapse like the tabernacle at anytime. But the Saints know the fact that they are born again with spiritual bodies, they know the mission what they have to do on earth until the tabernacle collapses.

Church

Essence church have the meaning 『to gather.』 It is said that church is the place where the chosen people gather. Church is not a building, it is a community of the chosen people. The community is associated each. Today, however, the concept of church is being transformed into a building. Church has several attributes. Church is the body of Christ. Christ is the church on all things, and church of the world is church in all things. So the Saints unite to form the body of Christ. The community of saints has the power of Holy. They become one. Today, however, many churches are corrupt, fighting, and divisive. So many people are leaving church. The essential aspect of church is disappearing because of the fake church members.
