(8) God's image



『God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.』(Genesis 1:27) The image of God is the spirit. The image of God is not the state of mind, but the spirit is the light of God that God give to living soul. Adam was born of the state of living soul in the world. The spirit was dead. So, God put Adam in the garden of Eden and changed the dead spirit to the living spirit. The garden of Eden represents the kingdom of God. But Eve was born in the garden of Eden.

The image(spirit) of God were dead when human beings are born in the world already. The spirit was trapped in clay because of the crime in the kingdom of God, so the spirit was dead. The fresh must be reborn as a spiritual body in order to save the spirit while the body is still alive. The spiritual body is one as the same angel in the kingdom of God. The flesh from the parents must be die with Jesus on the cross to be reborn as a spiritual body. The spirit can live only when the fresh are died.

God's image is not a state of mind. You can not make clean or alive the dead spirit by the effort. We must wear the spiritual body that God give.『It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.』(1 Corinthians 15:44) God gives spiritual clothes to those who repent and return. The repentance is the death of the mind to be die with Jesus.『For he that is dead is freed from sin.』(Romans 6:7)

(2) The kingdom of God as the spirit world

Human beings can not see the spiritual kingdom of God through the eyes of the flesh. God tells people about the kingdom of God through the Bible. John who was the apostle recorded in the book of Revelation the kingdom of God which he saw when he was confined in the island of Patmos. 『 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal; 』 (Revelation21:10-11) Jewels symbolize the suffering and the patience. 2. The kingdom of God (1) Heavens

(1) Heavens The heavens mean that there are several heavens. The first heaven is generally the atmosphere. The second heaven is outer space. Third, heaven means the kingdom of God. 『 I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven. 』 (2 Corinthians 12: 2) Genesis (1: 1) of niv Bible makes it seem as if the creation of heaven and earth of this world and the kingdom of God were made together.
